Bio:

Hannah joined Tribe as an account manager in 2008 before being promoted to account director in 2010.

She has both in-house and agency experience, having started her career at a marketing agency before taking a press officer role at a national affordable housing provider.

Hannah passed the CIPR Diploma in October 2009, the industry recognised professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. The course helps seasoned professionals take on a more strategic role, by learning about reputation management, stakeholder theory, crisis management and PR planning.

As an account director at Tribe, Hannah has great client management skills and delivers results. Current clients include Jeyes, not for profit business WREN and Greene King. She also oversees the agency’s new business activity.

Patrick Peal
Patrick Peal Managing director

Likes: Sailing in a good breeze, pancakes & maple syrup, a plan coming together

Bio:

Patrick is Tribe’s managing director. He set up Band & Brown in the East of England in 1997, since when the agency has gone from strength to strength and changed its name.

He is an engineering graduate and the former head of communications at Group Lotus. At Tribe he provides sound business-focussed advice and counsel to a range of clients, including Jeyes Group, Bosal International and successful SME's such as Active Technologies and STG Aerospace.

His particular skills include negotiating public/private sector and multiple stakeholder groupings and distilling simple messages from complex technical information. Patrick’s crisis and issues management expertise has also helped a number of large and small clients.

Patrick is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a trustee of the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service. He has completed the Matrix course with Common Purpose, the community leadership development organisation.

Lucy Clegg

Bio:

Account manager Lucy joined the team as an account executive in 2008 before being promoted in 2010.

After completing a degree in Journalism at the University of Lincoln in 2007, Lucy began a PR career at a Lincoln agency before moving to Norwich, and joining Tribe.
 
She has enjoyed building her public relations experience by working across a wide range of clients and learning from colleagues, while still making the most of her journalistic skills.

Lucy works on client accounts including Greene King, Reef One, STG Aerospace, Pure Resourcing and Place UK, and is responsible for the Tribe e-newsletter and charity arm of the company’s Corporate Responsibility plan.

Donna Chessum

Bio:

Donna is deputy managing director and has over 20 years’ experience in PR, marketing and media. She cut her teeth at one of the UK’s leading newspaper groups and was corporate brand manager for Norwich Union before joining Tribe eleven years ago.

As well as PR, Donna’s experience spans brand management, advertising, corporate responsibility and sponsorship.

Donna develops intelligent and creative approaches to clients’ briefs and provides astute advice and sound counsel. Recent clients include Greene King, Blue Sky Leisure, Warings and not for profit business WREN.

Donna is a graduate of LEAD East, a regional leadership programme. She has a first class degree in History and is a committee member for the Heritage Lottery Fund for the East of England.

Dawn Humphreys
Dawn Humphreys Account director

Likes: Tea, crime dramas, Blue Peter style cutting, sticking and crafting

Dislikes: Slow boiling kettles, Tottenham losing, always getting lost

Bio:

Trained journalist Dawn joined Tribe in July 2006 as an account executive, rising to account manager and recently account director as her skills and experience have developed.

Experience gained at Archant newspapers and her National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) Certificate in Journalism helps Dawn bring a greater understanding of the media to Tribe, as well as excellent writing skills and a nose for news.

Dawn studied PR as part of her business and marketing degree. She is a conscientious and organised PR practitioner who works hard to deliver great results and media coverage for her clients.  Current clients include Greene King, Blue Sky Leisure, Birketts, Pure Resourcing and Windcrop.

Rob Halden-Pratt
Rob Halden-Pratt Head of TribeTV

Bio:

Rob is the Head of Tribe TV and is a media and communications professional with extensive
experience in print, television, new media journalism and digital product development.
 
He’s spent more time in newsrooms than he’d care to mention and has worked for Newsquest, ITV, and national broadcast and information service Teletext.
 
He knows his way around online video content creation and has produced live interactive web shows and exclusive web programming. Rob moved into PR and communications with the University of Cambridge before leaving to join Tribe.
 
A politics graduate, Rob is now studying for a Technology degree with the Open University and wishes he’d paid more attention to maths when he was at school.

Mark Sowersby
Mark Sowersby Account director

Bio:
Former journalist Mark joined Tribe as an Account Director in July 2011, returning to his home city of Norwich after 15 years living and working in London.
 
He brings a wealth of media experience to the team having spent eight years working as a digital sub-editor at Sky News, and three years as a senior reporter on a number of regional newspapers.
 
Mark made the jump into PR as a Media Relations Officer for national children’s charity Action for Children, before drawing on all his previous professional experience to take on the role of  Corporate Communications Manager at Save the Children, offering PR support to major brands including IKEA, Aviva , Morrisons and Lloyds Banking Group.
 
A big sports fan, Mark is married with a young daughter. He wishes he had more hair, more money and more time to learn guitar. Current clients include Greene King, Blue Sky Leisure, Jeyes and WREN.

Ellen Cave
Ellen Cave Account executive

Likes: Mayonnaise, taking photographs, wearing bright colours

Dislikes: Mosquitoes, polystyrene, phone fatigue

Bio:
Ellen joined Tribe as a trainee account executive in June 2011 after completing a successful three month internship as part of the University of East Anglia’s Project Evolve scheme.

She studied English Literature at the University of East Anglia and since graduating in 2010 has been eager to pursue a career in public relations.

At Tribe, Ellen works closely with account managers and directors on various accounts including Blue Sky Leisure, Warings Furniture, Reef One and Jeyes. She has a particular interest in social media as a valuable tool for clients.

Enjoying the excitement and variety that agency life brings, Ellen is eager to grow and develop her skills, whilst delivering results with a smile.

Georgina Arnott
Georgina Arnott Administration and PR Intern

Bio:

 

Georgina joined the Tribe team in September 2011 and is here for six months as an Administration and PR intern.
She studied English Literature and Philosophy at the University of East Anglia and since graduating has been keen to begin her career in the PR industry.
At Tribe, she is taking on administration tasks while working alongside her colleagues to learn the PR basics. She is particularly interested in Tribe’s use of new digital media, such as Tribe TV, and our work within the third sector.
She is excited to be with us and eager to grasp the skills needed to start her career.
