The Norfolk Network invited a panel of media industry experts to share their knowledge and insight into how they work, what they are looking for in stories and insider information about innovative ways you can work more effectively with the media.
Patrick joined a top line-up of media experts including the EDP business editor, Paul Hill, freelance journalist and media consultant Liz Hollis, television news reporter Maria Veronese (from Mediapro Media Training) and Director of Maw Communications, Gordon Maw.
The event was organised to help business people in Norfolk find out more about building an effective relationship with the media and how this can help a business to survive and thrive by raising profiles and enhancing reputation.
Patrick talked about the rise of digital and online media, the importance of engaging with this latest form of media and the techniques involved. He said: “We’ve been keen advocates and users of online PR tools for some time, reflecting the growing importance of social media. Our new TribeTV online video news service taps into the YouTube phenomenon, getting our clients in front of their target audiences cost-effectively and with maximum impact.”
