Client and background:
is the UK’s largest privately owned cinema operator with a portfolio of 17 cinemas across the country.
To train all Empire Cinemas managers to deliver their own local PR and crisis communications.
Tribe researched, drafted and produced a PR toolkit as a reference guide for managers to deliver their own local PR. It included an introduction to PR and news stories, media relation techniques, PR tactics and crisis communication advice.
The PR toolkit was launched at a two-day Tribe workshop for 40 cinema managers which brought the toolkit to life with interactive sessions. As part of the toolkit Tribe produced a series of templates to be used by each cinema manager including press release templates, diary dates, media invitations and photography briefs.
Empire Cinemas used Tribe for crisis media relations work including preparing holding statements, advising on external and internal briefings and communications advice and dealing with media enquiries.
“The Tribe team devised a bespoke and thorough PR and Marketing toolkit and contributed to a dynamic two day workshop for Empire Cinemas’ managers and senior team. Tribe worked closely with the senior team at Empire Cinemas to produce a 100+ page toolkit which has empowered our cinema managers to deliver their own local level PR and marketing activity.Wewere delighted with the input from Tribe, not only via the toolkit but in the way they brought it to life via presentations and break out sessions over the two day workshop.”
