Bio:
Hannah joined Tribe as an account manager in 2008 and has both in-house and agency experience.

She began her career at a marketing agency before taking a press officer role at Circle Anglia, a regional housing association. There she successfully delivered proactive communication campaigns to multiple audiences, including tenants and stakeholders, as well as local press and trade media.

CIPR qualified and with six years' of marketing and PR experience under her belt, she has great client management skills and delivers results. Hannah’s clients include Norwich City Council, May Gurney, Enterprise UK and not for profit business WREN.

Annabel Allison Office manager

Bio:
Annabel is Tribe’s office manager and joined the agency over four years ago having worked as an operations manager, organising creative arts tours around Europe.

At Tribe, she uses her organisational skills and methodical approach to manage and refine systems, processes and operations to keep the office running efficiently. She also supports the team on events and campaigns and with research, copy-checking, IT and general trouble-shooting. She manages Tribe’s website and leads on corporate responsibility and business continuity.

Her previous work at RNIB in Braille transcription, proofreading and in the production of Talking Books for the Blind gave her experience of working on multiple, time-sensitive and complicated projects and developed her accuracy and attention to detail.

Annabel is a French/English graduate and is bilingual.

Patrick Peal Managing director

Likes: Sailing in a good breeze, pancakes & maple syrup, a plan coming together

Bio:
Patrick is Tribe’s managing director. He set up Band & Brown in the East of England in 1997, since when the agency has gone from strength to strength and changed its name.

He is an engineering graduate and the former head of communications at Group Lotus. At Tribe he provides sound business-focussed advice and counsel to a range of clients, including Shell Racing Solutions, Group Lotus, May Gurney and Bosal International.

His particular skills include negotiating public/private sector and multiple stakeholder groupings and distilling simple messages from complex technical information. Patrick’s crisis and issues management expertise spans clients including Bernard Matthews, City College Norwich, Motorsport Development UK and Group Lotus.

Patrick is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a trustee of the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service. He has completed the Matrix course with Common Purpose, the community leadership development organisation.

Lucy Clegg Account executive

Bio:
Lucy joined the team as an account executive in 2008.

She began her PR career at an agency in Lincoln, after completing a degree in Journalism at the University of Lincoln.

She is enjoying further developing her public relations experience and learning from other colleagues, whilst applying the journalistic knowledge and skills she gained at university.

Lucy works on client accounts including Reef One, STG Aerospace and the Learning and Skills Council, and is responsible for the Tribe e-newsletter.

Lindsey Roffe Head of development

Bio:
Lindsey is Tribe’s head of development having joined the agency seven years ago as account director.

She is a Media Communications graduate and has over 13 years' PR experience, including co-founding her own agency working on national consumer, lifestyle and leisure accounts.

At Tribe, Lindsey has directed and delivered successful campaigns for the Big Skill initiative for the Learning and Skills Council, Reef One, i10 and Norwich City Council. Lindsey’s current role encompasses the training and development of all Tribe staff and of business projects and services such as Tribe Training. She continues to provide invaluable account director expertise for clients as required.

Donna Chessum Deputy managing director

Bio:
Donna is deputy managing director and has over 20 years’ experience in PR, marketing and media. She cut her teeth at one of the UK’s leading newspaper groups and was corporate brand manager for Norwich Union before joining Tribe nine years ago.

As well as PR, Donna’s experience spans brand management, advertising, corporate responsibility and sponsorship including the award-winning Norwich Union First Aid campaign, the English National Ballet and the RAC Classic.

Donna develops intelligent and creative approaches to clients’ briefs and provides astute advice and sound counsel. Recent clients include the Learning and Skills Council, Camelot, infrastructure services company May Gurney, not for profit business WREN, and Unilever.

Donna is a graduate of LEAD East, a regional leadership programme. She has a first class degree in History and is a committee member for the Heritage Lottery Fund for the East of England.

Leila Lahfa Account executive

Bio:
Leila is an account executive at Tribe having joined the agency two years ago as a trainee.

Prior to that, she gained a degree in English and Modern Visual Culture and gained invaluable work experience with a marketing communications and website design agency, the BBC and a theatre group.

At Tribe, Leila is part of the teams working for May Gurney, Norfolk County Council, Camelot and the Learning and Skills Council. She is particularly interested in online PR and social media, and leads on the environmental section of our Corporate Responsibility plan.

Leila has recently completed the CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing.

Lou Mains TribeTV account manager

Bio:
Lou is our TribeTV producer and joined the agency a year ago to develop our online news service.

Lou is an honours graduate in Television and has over a decade of experience producing for national and international broadcast television. She began her career at The Big Breakfast and has since worked as a senior producer for entertainment, music and news channels in Europe and Hong Kong.

Lou is passionate about the importance of video as an effective PR tool for web and mobile technologies. She understands what makes a good visual story and the places in which it should be seen – making client video as cost-effective, valuable and stress free as possible.

Lou is ‘mum’ to Biscuit, BBC DJ Chris Evans’ Drivetime mascot.

Dawn Humphreys Account manager

Bio:
Trained journalist Dawn joined Tribe in July 2006 and was promoted to account manager two years later.

Experience gained at Archant newspapers and her National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ) Certificate in Journalism helps Dawn bring a greater understanding of the media to Tribe, as well as excellent writing skills and a nose for news.

Dawn studied PR as part of her business and marketing degree. She is a conscientious and organised PR practitioner who works hard to deliver great results and media coverage for her clients which include the Learning and Skills Council, Norfolk County Council and Camelot.

Dawn edits the news on Tribe’s website and is also our ambassador for Fit for Business, an initiative to encourage a healthy lifestyle within the workplace.

Matt Ware Head of news

Dislikes: People talking about themselves in the third person, impolite drivers, bankers' bonuses

Bio:
Matt joined Tribe after a successful career as a journalist for the Eastern Daily Press and then head of communications at the six-county East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

After working for Tribe on a freelance basis for five months, Matt was appointed the agency’s first head of news in October 2009. His roving brief across the agency will help ensure the effective delivery of media relations and the development of staff.

Matt’s particular strengths are his experience of and contacts in the media, his ability to identify news angles and present them to journalists in the right way, and his excellent writing skills.

Bio:
Mathew joined Tribe in 2009 as an administrative assistant and is currently training to become an account executive.

Since graduating in politics and media, Mathew has worked at Norwich Union and AVIVA, undertaken a PR internship with a London based personal fitness company and a work placement with a regional newspaper.

Mathew is a dedicated and committed individual with a passion for media, a creative flair and a disciplined approach to all aspects of his role.
