Norwich City Council has appointed PR agency, Tribe to fulfil a 12 month communications campaign to create a culture of enterprise in the city.
The campaign for the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI) begins this August. Using media relations, event management and online media the communication campaign will encourage would-be entrepreneurs to start up their own business in the city.
Account manager Hannah White will be working in the Norwich Enterprise Centre part-time, giving a dedicated resource to the account.
Dawn Badminton-Capps, Programme Manager for LEGI at Norwich City Council said; “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tribe as the PR agency to lead our communications campaign for LEGI. We aim to create a buzz in the city and get people talking about starting-up their own business, proving that anyone can do it with the right support and encouragement.”
Patrick Peal, managing director of Tribe added: “We’ve just welcomed two new members to the Tribe team this summer, Suzy Hill as account director and Hannah White as account manager. They both got stuck into a new business pitch straight away for Norwich City Council and I’m delighted that they won the business. Leading a campaign that aims to change perceptions, get people talking about starting up their own business and inspire entrepreneurship in Norwich is very exciting and something we’re thrilled to be a part of.”
The agency saw off competition from three other agencies to win the contract, which was put out to tender in June.
