Norfolk company partnership set to inspire the region’s business leaders

Norfolk company partnership set to inspire the region’s business leaders
Two Norfolk companies have teamed up to provide a ‘truly unique’ course designed to help small and medium businesses in the region develop their leadership expertise.

Talent management organisation, eras ltd, based in Diss, has joined forces with Pathfinder Development Ltd, based in Horstead, to develop an innovative course designed to bring all the core elements of leadership and management together in one programme.

Tony Kerley, director at eras ltd, said: “The world of leadership and management isn’t changing that rapidly, so it is a very bold statement to call this course truly unique. But this is how it has been described by the Institute of Leadership and Management.

“There are hundreds, if not thousands, of courses available in different aspects of leadership and management, and quite a few which will bring together several elements of leadership training. What makes our course unique is the fact that we have been able to pull together all aspects of leadership training into one programme.”

The programme has been designed to benefit those who attend, and their organisations, by building confidence to lead and manage more effectively. It has been specifically designed, and priced, to appeal to small and medium enterprises.

The eras-pathfinder partnership course will encompass cutting edge psychometrics, experiential learning, executive coaching, inspiration guest speakers and action learning. And provide the opportunity to achieve the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management.

To be able to offer the full spectrum of training in one programme, eras ltd teamed up with Pathfinder Development Ltd, a company which delivers motivational leadership and management development via engaging and immersive events.

Tony added: “We wanted to ensure that the course would be experiential, engaging and more fun than just classroom based. This is what inspired us to team up with Pathfinder Development Ltd, to help us provide the experiential and action learning activities which intrinsically help people learn how to lead and manage in order to succeed.”

A free taster session and open morning has been organised at The Broad House Hotel on Friday 1 October 2010 to provide further information to anyone interested in attending the programme, enrolling their employees, or recommending the programme to clients.

For more information or to register attendance at the taster session call Pauline or Dawn on 01379 652 171 or email expertise@eras.co.uk.
